Sophia Parsons’ family has skeletons, but they aren’t in their graves...

Solving the mystery of an ancestor’s hanging might silence the clashing whispers in Sophia's mind, but the cult in her town and the supernaturals who secretly reside there are determined to silence her first.

As Sophia unknowingly crosses the line into an elemental world full of vampire-like creatures, shapeshifters, and supernatural grim reapers, she meets Charles, a man who becomes both lover and ally.

But can she trust him?

It’s not until someone nearly kills Sophia that she realizes the only way to unveil the source of her family's curse: abandon her faith or abandon her humanity. If she wants to survive, she must accept who she is, perform dark magic, and fight to the death for her freedom.

Although I would say most all of Forever Girl would be considered Young Adult, there is a scene near the end that may be a little unsuitable for younger readers, so be forewarned :)

What is Forever Girl, you ask? Forever Girl is an exceptionally written paranormal romance by Rebecca Hamilton. Everything about this book intrigued me. Witches, vampires, strigoi, shapeshifters. A little something for everyone.

Hamilton’s writing style is addictive. The scenes in the story quite literally jumped out of the pages. There were various points in the book where my heart did beat a little faster with anticipation. Hamilton has a way of drawing out a suspenseful scene where there is just no way that anyone can stop reading. Not only are her suspense writing skills top notch, but her romance scenes were equally well written.  I pretty much found myself needing to keep reading this book so that I could find out the answers to the little questions floating around in my head!

Not only does Hamilton introduce us to a strong and clever leading lady, Sophia Parson, but she also gives us …Charles *sigh* Charles just oozes sex appeal. The chemistry between Sophia and Charles is just as addictive as the story itself! Not only is this a truly romantic story, but it is also packed with a lot of action. Fast paced action in a world of vampires made Forever Girl impossible to put down. Add in a cast of supporting characters, both good and bad, that readers will fall in love with, and you’ve got a recipe for an unforgettable paranormal romance that will leave readers yearning for more.

And that's a compliment since Rebecca hasn't gone to bed yet (when she posted that comment,) so her day was longer than 24hrs.

I totallly agree, it was very hard to put this book down, especially when I got around to various scenes. I was always wondering just what was going to happen next. When something did happen I was almost always surprised by the outcome.

So much suspense, twists and turns, all out great novel.

Yay :)

Now you made my day today, too. I swear, being an author and having such AWESOME people read my book and share their thoughts ... it really makes me a happier person. (And people thought I was too peppy to begin with, so I bet some are getting a little frightened by this sentiment!)

Thanks again, MaryAnn, so so so much! And Thank you Jason and Robert for stopping by. I'm lucky to have all 3 of you!

This is an awesome review. I love Rebecca's book because it is fast paced but still remains deep. The characters and symbolism kept me hooks to the story.
